Hughes, Turner Embark On "Devil's Road"

Former DEEP PURPLE/BLACK SABBATH vocalist Glenn Hughes, former RAINBOW/DEEP PURPLE singer Joe Lynn Turner, and the rest of the “Voices Of Classic Rock” team will be joined by guitarists Pat Travers and Leslie West on the syndicated radio show Rockline on January 9th. In other news, a two-minute clip of the track “Devil's Road”, taken from the upcoming debut release from Hughes and Turner's HTP (HUGHES TURNER PROJECT),can be downloaded from this location. The self-titled effort will be issued in Japan on February 6th through Pony Canyon Records. Also on the Hughes front, the singer has teamed up with current TALISMAN/HUMANIMAL and former YNGWIE MALMSTEEN vocalist Jeff Scott Soto on a cover version of SLY AND THE FAMILY STONE's “I Wanna Take You Higher”, which is set to appear on Soto's planned sophomore solo album, due out through Z Records in the summer.
